I work at the intersection of Corporate & Commercial Law, Business Structuring and Investment Advisory, with practical exposure to corporate transactions, foreign investment and cross-border commercial matters. My experience includes assisting with M&A due diligence, commercial contract review, transaction-oriented legal research, FEMA and foreign investment matters, regulatory compliance and advisory assignments. My approach to legal work is commercially oriented — understanding the business objective, identifying legal and regulatory risks, and supporting practical transaction structures and solutions. My areas of professional focus include business structuring, startups, PE/VC, commercial contracts, foreign investment (FEMA), cross-border transactions, real estate transactions and hospitality advisory. I am particularly interested in matters involving investment into India and transactions where domestic regulatory requirements intersect with international business interests. Through my experience with corporate and commercial law practices, I have worked on matters involving transaction documentation, due diligence, contractual analysis, investment structures and sector-specific regulatory frameworks. I continue to develop my understanding of these areas through practical assignments, legal research and transaction-focused work. Alongside my legal work, I regularly write and create professional content on corporate and commercial law. My work has been published on TaxGuru and other legal platforms, where I analyse complex legal and regulatory issues and present them in a clear and accessible manner for professionals and wider audiences. I have also engaged with students and aspiring professionals through invited sessions under government initiatives, sharing perspectives on legal careers and professional development. Academically, I secured Rank 1 in the University of Kashmir Law Entrance Examination (2022) and qualified CLAT in my first attempt, receiving an allotment to National Law University Mumbai. I have since built on this academic foundation through practical exposure to corporate and commercial legal work and continued professional development. I am particularly interested in connecting with lawyers, law firms, businesses, founders and professionals working on India-facing transactions and cross-border matters, and in contributing to commercially driven legal work across Indian and international markets.
